Comcast Business – The Government is Leaning into Business Relief
April 14 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm EDT
About this webinar
On April 3, The U.S. Small Business Administration launched the $349 billion Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), a business loan program enacted under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act. Designed to serve small businesses with 500 or fewer employees, along with the self-employed, sole proprietors, and freelance and gig workers, the PPP is meant to provide immediate relief to small businesses through low-interest loans for payroll and overhead expenses, with the possibility of loan forgiveness. Other CARES Act programs meant to support American businesses will be launched in the coming weeks. Join Comcast Business April 14 at 1 p.m. ET for “The Government Is Leaning into Business Relief,” a webinar featuring Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP. This brief, informative webinar will explore the facts on PPP; eligibility requirements; considerations for whether PPP is right for you and your business; and discuss other government programs designed to help keep your business running under these difficult circumstances. Our panelists: • Jai Massari, Partner, Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP. Jai advises major global banks, asset managers, and corporations on the requirements, impact, and implementation of financial regulation. • John Banes, Partner, Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP. John currently advises financial institutions on a range of regulatory and related transactional issues, including resolution planning, regulatory capital and TLAC, and regulatory requirements.
